Sarah is an Associate with experience in competition and climate change/human rights disputes.
Expertise
Sarah joined Hausfeld in 2023 where she trained at the firm and was promoted to Associate in September 2026. She has worked on different high-profile competition and climate change/human rights litigation cases within the firm and has been an integral part of teams during all stages of litigation, including pre-action, preparation for filing, legal research, case management and trial.
During her training, she undertook a client secondment at Which? in the Commercial & Digital Legal department where she gained in-house experience, focusing on commercial contracts, intellectual property matters, and developments in consumer legislation.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Sarah undertook several placements at organisations and law firms in Dublin, including Arthur Cox.
Closely aligned with the Hausfeld ethos, Sarah is actively involved in several pro bono initiatives.

Antitrust/Competition
At Hausfeld, Sarah is part of the legal team which:
- Acting on behalf of individual and business clients in relation to the alleged use by Mercedes of so-called ‘defeat devices’ for the purposes of cheating emissions testing. The team have issued claims on behalf of thousands of clients affected by Mercedes’ alleged conduct and are part of the Steering Committee of firms running the litigation.
- Represented Foundem in an abuse of dominance claim against Google linked to the EC's infringement finding in relation to Google Shopping.
- Working with car manufacturers on recovering damages as the result of the following cartels: Alternators & Starters, Thermal Systems and Spark Plugs.
Environmental & Product Liability
- Acting in the Philippines tort claim against Shell plc , the first of its kind in England to directly link death, injury, and property destruction in the Global South to the effects of anthropogenic climate change caused by a fossil fuel company in the Global North. The team represents 103 individuals in the Philippines whose family members were killed and/or whose homes were destroyed by Typhoon Odette.
- Acting for Hussein Julood seeking damages for the death of his son from cancer allegedly caused by BP's gas flaring operations at the Rumaila oil field in Iraq. First UK lawsuit against a fossil fuel company relating to overseas flaring. High-profile matter involving novel questions of jurisdiction, environmental harm, and corporate accountability for emissions.
