Dr. Odey Hardan is a Senior Associate in Hausfeld’s Düsseldorf office. He advises clients in data protection litigation with a focus on digital markets.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, he worked for several years as a lawyer at a US law firm in Düsseldorf, where he advised international technology companies primarily on AI, cyber and data protection law and represented them in proceedings before authorities and courts. Odey studied law at the University of Bielefeld and completed his doctorate on the topic of “Extraterritoriality and EU Law” with Summa Cum Laude. As a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Franz C. Mayer, LL.M. (Yale) at the University of Bielefeld, he assisted with representing German federal bodies before the German Federal Constitutional Court.
Odey is fluent in German, Arabic, and English.
