Michelina is a Staff Attorney in Hausfeld’s Washington, D.C. office, where she supports complex civil litigation matters. She brings experience from both government and judicial roles, having served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie A. Meek of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and as an Assistant Attorney General in the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General. Her work has included drafting substantive motions, conducting legal research on complex civil issues, taking and defending depositions, and appearing before judges in active litigation.
Michelina also has a strong background in international and public law, with experience researching and drafting memoranda on international criminal law, atrocity crimes, universal jurisdiction, and post-conflict legal frameworks through roles with academic institutions, international law practitioners, and nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C.
