Shayla is an associate in Hausfeld’s New York office. Shayla started her career as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, where she transitioned from working with Fortune 500 companies to collaborating with nonprofit and public sector clients. Her experience serving communities through corporate citizenship efforts inspired her to seek systemic change and transition to a career in law.
While in law school, Shayla was a summer associate at Hausfeld for two years and the recipient of Hausfeld’s 1L Diversity Law Fellowship. She was involved in the University of Chicago Law School’s Plaintiff Law Association and served as President for the school’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Project.
Shayla is also an Executive Board Member of Caring Contact, a crisis prevention center that serves as provider for the national suicide prevention hotline. Shayla is responsible for guiding mission performance and oversees Board recruitment.
