Experience
Seth has over a decade of antitrust litigation and regulatory experience, and has represented clients in many different industries over the course of his career, including manufacturing, transportation, pharmaceuticals and health care.
Seth began his legal career at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. While there, he focused on antitrust litigation and regulatory compliance.
Clients
Seth currently represents victims of domestic and international anticompetitive conduct. His current clients include rail freight shippers, medical laboratories, airline passengers, and property owners, among others.
Practice Areas
- In re Rail Freight Fuel Surcharge Antitrust – Hausfeld serves as co-lead counsel representing a shippers who allege that the nation’s largest freight-shipping railroads conspired to fix rail-freight fuel surcharges.
- In re Transpacific Passenger Air Transportation Antitrust Litigation – Seth represents a class of airline passenger who allege that several major airlines conspired to inflate the costs of tickets for travel between the United States and Asia/Oceania. All defendants have now settled in this matter, with total compensation to the classes reaching nearly $150 million.
- In re Domestic Airline Travel Antitrust Litigation – Seth represents a proposed class of airline passenger who allege a conspiracy by United, American, Delta, and Southwest to artificially inflate domestic airline ticket prices by limiting capacity. Although discovery is ongoing, settlements total $60 million to date.
