Marcus "Hill" Brakefield
OVERVIEW
Hill’s practice focuses on antitrust, consumer protection, and intellectual property litigation. His experience includes managing discovery, briefing procedural motions, and arguing in federal courts and tribunals.
Prior to joining the firm, Hill served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eleni M. Roumel at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Before clerking, Hill was an associate at a patent litigation boutique firm in Fort Worth, Texas, where he represented innovators and entrepreneurs seeking to hold major technology and telecommunications companies accountable for patent infringement. Hill started his career at a large law firm where he focused on patent counseling and litigation.
Hill has represented clients in federal courts and tribunals across the country. Some of Hill’s current and former clients include companies in the telecommunications, software, medical devices, and financial services industries.
