Following Hausfeld’s recent success filing a ground breaking legal complaint about climate change on behalf of 16 youth petitioners to the UNCRC, led by teenage activist Greta Thunberg, the EHRC identified Head of our Human Rights and Environmental Disputes team Ingrid Gubbay, as the perfect candidate to provide deeper insight on the complaint, and share her knowledge on climate change.

Invited to speak at their in-house event, she will explore the roles that bodies such as EHRC can play to join the dots on human rights and climate change to tackle these issues, and discuss other legal remedies that could be pursued.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is a public body that promotes and upholds equality and human rights ideals and laws across England, Scotland and Wales. Their work is driven by the simple belief; if everyone gets a fair chance in life, we all thrive.
