OVERVIEW
Experience
Billy's work spans multiple practice areas, including environmental threats, antitrust litigation, deceptive business practices, privacy law consumer class actions, and human rights. Billy is also part of Hausfeld's global climate change team. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Billy clerked for the Honorable Laura A. Cordero at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where he worked on mortgage foreclosure matters. While in law school, Billy worked with his law school's War Crimes Research Office on multiple projects, participated in the Kovler Project Against Torture to aid the work of the UN Committee against Torture, and represented asylum-seekers and incarcerated individuals as a student attorney with his law school’s International Human Rights Law Clinic.
