Marie Ramsundar

OVERVIEW

Since January 2015, Marie has been with Hausfeld LLP in Washington DC in the role of US Accounting Manager, overseeing the billing function, the firm’s litigation funds, accounts payable, account reconciliations and weekly cash flow.

Marie offers over fifteen years of experience in accounting and finance.  Prior to joining Hausfeld LLP, she was an Accountant at Veritas Capital, a private equity firm in New York City for over five years, where she had responsibility for investors’ financial reporting, budget analysis, and cash flow forecasting.  Marie was instrumental in the transition and implementation process of Investran, the financial reporting software at Veritas Capital. Her legal experience includes working in the finance departments of at Allen & Overy and Greenberg Traurig, LLP in New York City.

Marie works closely with the US attorneys to meet their billing and funding needs and her attention to detail ensures the smooth running of the US finance department. Marie has strong interpersonal skills and works effectively in a team environment. 

EDUCATION

Marie received her B.S in Accounting from York College, The City University of New York in 2001 and continues to stay current with technology and trends within her area of expertise.
