Women@Competition talk on collective redress

In support of W@CompetitionUK, a platform for female professionals playing a significant role in shaping competition policy, Hausfeld was pleased to host this talk. Partner Lesley Hannah is an active member of the organising committee.

An expert panel of six female competition professionals discussed what is ‘hot’ in collective redress. Hausfeld London Senior Associate, Lucy Rigby: Victoria Wakefield QC of Brick Court Chambers; Avantika Chowdhury of Oxera; Liz Jordan of Linklaters; Pinar Bagci of Brattle and Jess Steele of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, led a thought-provoking and engaging discussion on the following topics:

  1. The challenges emerging from the collective redress regime
  2. Direct and indirect purchaser claims
  3. The interplay between breach of privacy and abuse of dominance

The event was followed by networking drinks and canapes and was free to attend. W@ encourages all genders to attend their events.
