Hausfeld maintains top tier ranking in Chambers & Partners

Hausfeld & Co LLP has maintained its leading position in the Chambers & Partners UK Guide 2018 for Competition Law: Private Enforcement: Claimant. For the fourth year in a row Hausfeld is the only firm in Band One and was described by clients as “forefront of engaging in thinking in this area” and “very entrepreneurial and come up with lots of business solutions you wouldn't expect from a law firm”.

Managing Partner, Anthony Maton, is the only Leading Individual of any firm recognised in Band One and is described as “the best in the class.” Anthony is also recognised for extensive experience in international dispute resolution, and clients praise his “very frank economic thinking: he looks at matters from all angles.”

Partners Nicola Boyle and Scott Campbell are also recognised as Leading Individuals.  Nicola was commended for being an “excellent lawyer and a real fighter for her clients" and for spotting “problems in advance and show[ing] how to deal with them”.  Scott was highlighted for his “extensive experience in handling multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes arising out of infringements of EU and UK competition law”.

Partner Anna Morfey is also recognised as ‘Up and Coming’ and was singled out by interviewees as “a rising star with huge potential, an incredible litigator.”

The firm’s growing Commercial Litigation practice has also been recognised for its claimant work against major banks and financial institutions in the Banking & Litigation (Conflict Free) spotlight table. Partner Lianne Craig is recognised as a notable practitioner.

Commenting on this year’s rankings, Managing Partner, Anthony Maton, says, “Our continued position as the sole Tier One firm reflects the hard work across the team to maintain our market-leading position in an increasingly competitive market. I am also delighted that our growing Commercial Litigation practice has again been recognised in this year’s rankings.”
