As South Africa and the world celebrated the 20th anniversary of the release of Nelson Mandela from Robben Island prison, Michael Hausfeld and Steig Olson say the global corporations that supported the apartheid regime still have to be brought to book.

Writing for European Lawyer, Michael D. Hausfeld and Steig D. Olson argue that black South Africans still wait for a measure of justice from global corporations that knowingly aided apartheid South Africa's military and security agencies.

In Khulumani v. Barclays National Bank Ltd., a case before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Hausfeld represents numerous South African victims of the apartheid regime, alleging that Defendant multi-national corporations aided and abetted the commission of crimes against humanity.
