(October 18-21, 2015) - Hausfeld Chairman, Michael Hausfeld and Hausfeld Partner, Bonny Sweeney were invited to speak at the Antitrust Law & Economics Institute for Judges in Washington, DC. Co-sponsors included the Federal Judicial Center, the ABA Section of Antitrust Law and George Mason University School of Law, Law & Economics Center.

Hausfeld Chairman, Michael Hausfeld, delivered a keynote address titled "The Certification Pendulum," to an audience of over thirty federal judges. Hausfeld San Francisco Partner, Bonny Sweeney, appeared as plaintiffs' counsel in a mock trial argument on the topic of the NCAA Litigation, which tasked a jury in examining antitrust issues raised by a college athletic association's restrictions on amateur player compensation and whether the anticompetitive effects of those restraints, if any, were offset by the association's procompetitive justification for the restraints.
