Related Practice Areas: Antitrust / Competition

For the fourth consecutive year since its inception in 2008, Hausfeld was ranked again by The Legal 500 as one of the top tier firms in the US for the litigation category in antitrust plaintiff representation.

In its publication, The Legal 500 states that “Hausfeld has ‘a deep and strong knowledge of the antitrust practice’, and is recognized as ‘among the very top’ firms in its space.”

In addition to the Tier 1 placement, Hausfeld was the only firm with three of their partners selected as Leading Lawyers for their work in this area. “Brian Ratner ‘thinks strategically, is an excellent negotiator and has a solid foundation of substantive law’. Andrew Bullion, ‘powerhouse’ Michael Hausfeld and Megan Jones are also recommended.” Ms. Jones was one of only two women selected in the 10 attorney list.

The annual Legal 500 guides provide an in-depth analysis that reviews the strengths and strategies of law firms and lawyers all over the globe. Their experienced journalists and researchers, who travel to over 50 countries each year, interview clients personally to gather information and gain insight on the firms who are nominated as well as speaking directly with and gaining the opinions of rival counsel in related areas of practice before making their final recommendations. For information on The Legal 500 and Hausfeld’s rankings, visit The Legal 500 website.

Hausfeld has been recognized as a leading firm in the plaintiffs’ antitrust arena and was also recently cited by the Global Competition Review as “… one of—if not the—top plaintiffs’ antitrust firms in the US.”

Hausfeld is a global claimant litigation firm with 31 attorneys throughout four offices in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and London. It represents individuals as well as domestic and international companies of all sizes and across a wide range of industries, in complex litigation and dispute resolution related to anticompetitive and other illegal conduct in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere.
