April 12, 2016 (Washington, DC) — Hausfeld, a global claimants’ law firm dedicated to handling complex litigation, has been awarded Global Competition Review’s “Litigation of the Year – Cartel Prosecution” for its work on In re Foreign Exchange Antitrust Benchmarks Litigation on April 5, 2016. 

This award recognized Hausfeld’s success in the Foreign Exchange litigation to date, which has included securing settlements for more than $2 billion in settlements on behalf of a class of injured foreign exchange investors and overcoming two motions to dismiss in the action.

Winning matters were selected through a system of evaluation by Global Competition Review and voting by the general public. The Global Competition Review awards honor “the best in competition enforcement, merger and cartel defense and overall achievement” and were announced at the Global Competition Review Awards Dinner on April 5, 2016.
