Talc Litigation

Related Lawyers: Steve Rotman, Richard S. Lewis

Hausfeld is evaluating and filing cases on behalf of women who purchased and used Johnson and Johnson and/or Shower to Shower talcum powder and who were diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Prolonged use of talcum powder in the genital area (at least 5 years) has been found in numerous studies to be associated with the later occurrence of ovarian cancer. Hausfeld is working with expert pathologists to evaluate the ovarian cancer pathology for their clients to identify cases where a talcum powder-ovarian cancer link can be proven.

Hausfeld and its co-counsel have filed cases against Johnson and Johnson and Imerys Talc America in the MDL pending in federal court in New Jersey (where Hausfeld has been appointed to the Plaintiff’s Science Committee to help develop experts for the common benefit of all plaintiffs).

If you or a loved one has used talcum powder and been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Hausfeld will evaluate your potential claim.  Please contact srotman@hausfeld.com for further information.
